Development Surveyor
Development Surveyor (3-5 years PQE)
You will join the Development Consultancy team supporting the Managing Director/Head of Agency (Commercial and/or Residential) providing Real Estate Advice on behalf of a range of residential and commercial developer clients.  Your caseload will be a mixture of professional, project management, agency and development instructions.  We are a multi disciplinary firm with multi disciplinary and varied demands upon our Consultants.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to
  • Your key agenda will be to support the Land and Development Team
  • You particular focus will be supporting the supply and delivery of Residential and commercial Land for Dobson-Grey through disposals and acquisitions, helping to support strategic property advice to developers and investors.
  • Compiling and delivering marketing strategies for new and surplus properties and clients.
  • Negotiations for property disposals and acquisitions
  • Provide Marketing Strategy and Reports highlighting latest and market trends and development.  Support Land Bulletin for marketing purposes.
  • Maintaining a pricing matrix database to ensure data is current and accurate
  • Experience in preparing development viability assessments
  • Basic planning knowledge for immediate and strategic planning opportunities
  • Supporting in a variety of professional areas including lease advisory, project management and valuations.
  • Supporting bid teams with new business tenders
  • Providing support in the management of procurement processes for development partnerships and agreements

Key Skills and Experience
  • Be able to work collaboratively and effectively with a wide variety of consultants and service providers
  • MRICS
  • Development appraisal skills
  • Excellent team player
  • General Practice/Residential Agency or Project Management background
  • Negotiations Skills
  • Self Starter
  • Effective Business Development skills
  • Proven fee track record
  • When you are not disposing you will be acquiring ensuring a steady pipeline supply of fee income.
  • Initiative.  You will support/coordinate and be responsible to applying for and winning tenders for new opportunities for the Health and Safety and Property Team.
  • Good attention to detail
  • Programme Experience Ensure the efficient and timely flow of information from Consultants through to Clients and ensure clear direction for teams.
  • Can do!  You will be able to work collaboratively and efficiently with colleagues within your team.  Demonstrate a “can do” attitude and flexible approach to work.
  • Good IT skills ideally G Suite packages (e.g gmail, slides, sheets, hangouts and docs) and/or Microsoft Package.  Good typing speed.

You will join the Development Consultancy team supporting the Managing Director providing Real Estate Advice on behalf of a range of residential developer clients.  Your caseload will be a mixture of professional, project management, agency and development instructions.  We are a multi disciplinary firm with multi disciplinary and varied demands upon our Consultants.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to
  • Your key agenda will be to set up the New Homes Sales Business and grow residential agency stock
  • You particular focus will be in increasing the supply and delivery of Residential Land and New Homes for Dobson-Grey through disposals and acquisitions, providing strategic property advice, support to developers and investors
  • Compiling and delivering marketing strategies for new and surplus properties and clients
  • Negotiations for property disposals and acquisitions
  • Develop New Homes Sales Strategies
  • Provide Marketing Strategy and Reports highlighting latest market trends and development
  • Maintaining a pricing matrix database to ensure data is current and accurate
  • Sales campaign management
  • Co-ordinating and recruitment of Site Sales and After Sales Care Team
  • Experience in preparing development viability assessments
  • Basic planning knowledge for strategic planning opportunities
  • Supporting in a variety of professional areas including lease advisory and valuations
  • Supporting bid teams with new business tenders
  • Providing support in the management of procurement processes for development partnerships and agreements
