Ollie Chair of RICS Coventry and Warwickshire Matrics board
Ollie has been appointed as the new chair of the RICS Coventry and Warwickshire Matrics UK board and attended the first event last week.
RICS Matrics UK is the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors early career community designed to support students, apprentices, trainees and those who are newly qualified (up to 10 years), as they move into the industry. It gives the community a platform to influence the profession, as well as an opportunity to network and gain support as they go through the assessment.
The network, made up of local committees, offers peer support groups, mentoring, free online Continuous Personal Development (CPD) opportunities, networking and social events, all designed to develop the leaders of tomorrow.
Ollie’s feedback from the day was that it was “a very informative day at the RICS HQ in London for the Annual Chairs Welcome. It was a great opportunity being able to meet other regional chairs and board members whilst learning more about Matrics and the industry as a whole. Looking forward to the year ahead and contributing to the growth of the Coventry and Warwickshire Committee.”
