Dobson-Grey are accredited by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) to deliver the IOSH Managing Safely courses. The course syllabus is set by IOSH, and Dobson-Grey adapt the case studies and utilise the experience of their trainers to suit the industry being trained.
Port Engineering Services (PES) have a long standing partnership with Dobson-Grey, PES have over 50 years of combined experience in inspection and manufacture. Providing their customers with engineering services and solutions worldwide. Due to the need for PES managers to work safely and have an accredited Health and Safety qualification Dobson-Grey support them with the required Managing Safely IOSH Courses.
Over the 4 day course containing the IOSH syllabus content, Dobson-Grey trainers worked through and interjected their own lived experiences. Seven PES managers completed the course which involved both a practical Risk Assessment exercise and an exam, all managers passed and the common feedback was clear:
“I now have a better understanding of my role in Health and Safety.”
Which is the whole aim of the IOSH Managing Safely course.
