A large multinational company based in the Uxbridge/Heathrow area appointed Dobson-Grey as their Health and Safety consultants to assist them with discharging a number of Health and Safety tasks, incorporating upskilling of staff in Health Safety and Fire awareness.
Dobson-Grey highlighted the training course that was required as a matter of urgency due to staff numbers within one building (Approx 250) was one to establish competent Fire Marshals. Dobson-Grey were able to attend, develop and deliver a bespoke site specific course quickly to remove the concern about staff safety.
The outcome has seen 20 staff undertake the 2-3 hour course with a practical element around site safety. This now enables the company to operate a safe system and Dobson-Grey also established a new Emergency Procedure that enables Fire marshals and managers to know their role if a fire or emergency were to occur. The excellent feedback has seen the same course be delivered at a second site for their partner company with a further 12 Fire Marshal now competent.
