This project involves an annual support package, that places Dobson-Grey as the appointed Fire, Health and Safety support for Stratford Sports Club.
Dobson-Grey, act as the Fire, Health and Safety appointed consultant. The extent of Dobson-Grey’s support included:
Undertaking site audits and inspections.
Fire plus Health & safety advice through monthly meetings
Annual Fire Risk Assessment inspection and report delivery
Fire Marshal training to staff
Accident, incidents and near miss investigations and recommendations.
Bi-Annual support with live fire drills inclusive of Fire Service liaison
Outcome:
Dobson-Grey highlighted some out of date policies and procedures that would have put the sports club at risk, these were all updated renewed and quick safe advice given to deliver a safe environment for staff and the local community. A set of staff training event were established for key areas to upskill all involved. Due to the legal requirement to undertake two Fire drills per year Dobson-Grey acted as liaison with the local fire crews setting up a live exercise to establish a fire drill involving staff and the community building a working relationship between the local crew sports club and community.
