    Keri Dobson Managing Director, FRICS Keri is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Expert Witness. She is an RICS registered valuer specialising in land, residential and commercial real estate brokerage & consultancy. She qualified in 1998. She established Dobson-Grey in 2007 following extensive experience with international consultancy firms and national housebuilders. She can provide advice and support on RICS Red Book valuations, land, planning, investment, project and development management. She supports clients from land identification, land contract and lease negotiations. Planning support, investment review, funding, overseeing design, optimisation of land use/value and cost management for healthcare, education and residential sectors. She supports clients with co-ordination and recommendation of other professional advisors to support the effective delivery of their investments. She has acted as Expert Witness and Joint Single Valuation Expert for London, Coventry, Birmingham and Warwick Family Courts. As Expert Witness for the Claimant in Birmingham High Court for Wilberforce Chambers. The case, Takhar v Gracefield, involved forgery, undue influence and resulting trust. A key element of the case was determining the value of the properties at various points in time. Keri Dobson FRICS played a vital role in this process. Judge Tindal declared that it was “the most complex case” of his career. Of the case Judge Tindal commented that it was “..perhaps the most complex case of my career”. He stated: “there is no doubt about Ms. Dobson’s expertise …and body of knowledge underpinning it; and I would add she was plainly impartial and trying to assist the Court, especially in her oral evidence.” The judge accepted Ms. Dobson’s “pre-works” valuations for the properties. These valuations formed a crucial basis for the court’s calculations of damages and financial remedies awarded to the Claimant.     Darren Grey Director, BA Hons CMIOSH Darren Grey, is a longstanding Chartered Member of IOSH and a Director at Dobson Grey Ltd. Darren has over 28 years of extensive experience in Health and Safety Risk Management Services and Construction. He has been heavily involved in advising on the CDM Regulations since their introduction. His background includes a significant period with HSE Information Services, where he was responsible for delivering information, training and assisting the industry in understanding the 1994 CDM Regulations. Furthermore, Darren gained valuable insight into enforcement duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 during his time as an Enforcement officer at Caerphilly County Borough Council. Since joining Dobson Grey in 2008, Darren has overseen and delivered work on numerous health and safety and construction projects, ensuring compliance with H&S and in particular the CDM regulations. Darren has experience of acting as Client, Principal Designer Advisor, CDM Co-ordinator, CDM Client Advisor, and Principal Designer on projects valued between £100,000 and £100 million. His project experience encompasses. Local Authority Regeneration, New Build Schools and Educational Establishments, Residential Developments, Commercial and Retail Development, Specialised and Industrial Projects, Cultural and Leisure Sector Projects. Darren aims to ensure the health and safety services at Dobson Grey provide a comprehensive, strategic, and safety-focused approach to business and development projects, setting a new standard in multi-disciplinary consultancy service.
    Justine Holt Business Development Executive Justine is the Business Development Executive at Dobson-Grey and provides essential process management and coordination for Dobson-Grey’s agency, valuation, project management, planning consultancy, and H&S teams. With over 11 years of experience in the land and development sector, Justine is well-equipped with a deep understanding of project lifecycles, from initial conception to final handover and management. Notably, she has contributed to the success of Grade I and II listed developments and has experience across land, residential, healthcare, education, and commercial projects. Justine is dedicated to ensuring Dobson-Grey delivers on its promise of exceptional customer service, prioritising care, commitment, and consistency.
    Lauren Overbosch General Administrator and Document Controller Lauren has over 14 years of experience as an Administrator, including 5 years of specialised experience in the Property sector. She is adept in roles requiring exceptional customer service and comprehensive support, demonstrating a commitment to delivering outstanding assistance and cultivating positive client relationships. Lauren, an experienced professional with a 9-year background in operations and business management. Her experience in these areas will likely provide insights to her new role.
    Ken Forrest Senior Health & Safety Consultant BSc CMIOSH MIFSM Ken joined Dobson-Grey in September 2021, bringing over 20 years of Health and Safety experience. A former RAF member with a background in construction and engineering, he’s a Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH) and a Member of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (MIFSM). Before Dobson-Grey, Ken spent seven successful years as a Lead Consultant at ELAS, excelling as a client-focused Consultant and the company’s fire safety lead. He boasts diverse experience, advising both private and public sector clients across various industries, from education to engineering. A registered Fire Risk Assessor, Ken emphasizes fire safety as crucial to a company’s overall strategy. He aims to build strong client relationships, ensuring effective safety measures that achieve legal compliance and foster a safe working environment. At Dobson-Grey, Ken offers comprehensive client support for Health, Safety, and Fire matters through audits, training, risk assessment (including COSHH and Fire), Gap Analysis, Accident Investigation, and Face Fit Testing.
    Ian Tonner Health, Safety & Fire Consultant MSc PGDip MIFireE Ian joined Dobson-Grey in September 2024 after a distinguished 30-year career as an Operational Fire Officer with Warwickshire and Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Services. He retired as Area Manager, leading Gloucestershire’s Fire Protection Team and implementing improvements to their Risk-Based Inspection Programme after the Fire Safety Act 2021. Ian holds an MSc in Fire Investigation, a Level 4 Diploma in Fire Safety, and postgraduate qualifications in leadership from Warwick University. He has provided expert witness evidence in arson cases and was seconded to Warwickshire Police for three years on criminal investigations. A Member of the Institution of Fire Engineers, Ian has been an active national and international exam marker since 2014, Ian has also just gained his membership with the Institute of Fire Safety Managers due to his extensive insight and knowledge which significantly enhances Dobson-Grey’s Health and Safety team, bolstering all fire safety functions. Ian now advises clients on Health, Safety, and Fire, offers training, conducts Fire Risk Assessments, and investigates workplace accidents.
    Oliver Sutton Graduate Surveyor Oliver is a Planning and Property Development BSc graduate currently working within the Land and Development team at Dobson-Grey mainly focusing within the agency sector. As part of his degree, he undertook a year-long placement role within the telecommunications industry, working in asset management. Within the property industry, he also gained experience as a Planning Enforcement Officer at a Local Authority level before joining the team at Dobson-Grey. Oliver works as a land agent, carrying out valuations, acquisitions and disposals, planning research, site searches, and development appraisals.
    Harry Bennett Apprentice Surveyor Harry is an Apprentice Surveyor supporting the Professional Services Team and works closely alongside Keri, assisting with valuations, agency deals, site searches, and town planning. Harry is currently enrolled on an apprenticeship programme with the University of the Built Environment, working towards a degree in Real Estate Management with a focus on Valuation. Harry is also a Student Member of the RICS. Harry’s previous experience has involved working within a global Civil Engineering company, producing technical drawings using 2D and 3D systems for large-scale projects.
    Julia Day Planning Associate BA(Hons), Dip TP, MRTPI, MBA Julia is a Chartered Town Planner with over 35 years of experience in development management and planning policy, spanning both the public and private sectors. Her expertise covers a wide range of planning applications, appeals, and enforcement matters, including listed building consents and advice on permitted development rights. She excels at planning appraisals and developing development strategies, as well as advising on land promotion and policy representation. Before joining Dobson-Grey, Julia successfully secured diverse planning approvals for private clients and businesses, ranging from nurseries and agricultural buildings to holiday lets and self-build dwellings. She understands how unique site characteristics, such as Green Belt or national landscapes, influence planning issues. Julia efficiently identifies necessary reports and collaborates with professionals to ensure successful planning outcomes.
    Tamsine Swan Planning Associate, BSc MA MRTPI Tamasine joined Dobson-Grey in 2021, having worked as a Chartered Town Planner for over 30 years. She has extensive experience dealing with a wide variety of planning application submissions, listed building and Conservation Area matters, change of use proposals, legal agreements, lawful development assessments, caravan cases and issues relating to planning conditions. She has also dealt with a range of appeal cases and appeared as the principal planning witness at Informal Hearings and Public Inquiries. Since joining Dobson Grey Tamasine has provided planning advice and support to a variety of clients nationwide, both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Her projects have included multiple pre-acquisition planning appraisals, large-scale school redevelopments, residential, commercial and change of use applications and various s191, s192 and s73 submissions. She has also engaged in pre-application and public consultation work, and site promotion through the local plan process.
    Charlotte Handcock Trainee Planner, BA (Hons) Having completed her History and Politics degree at the University of Sheffield in 2023, Charlotte joined Dobson-Grey in September 2023. She recently completed her Business Administration Apprenticeship within the Planning Department in January 2025, achieving a distinction. During her time at Dobson-Grey, Charlotte has contributed to a diverse range of projects, with a particular focus on educational and residential developments. She has provided advice on the different stages of the planning process and has managed planning applications from preparation to completion. Recently, Charlotte has been assisting the Planning Department with the preparation, submission, and monitoring of multiple school redevelopment planning applications, as well as the preparation of the public consultation for these.
