Supporting Borough Council of Wellingborough

Borough Council of Wellingborough Property Department sought Dobson-Grey’s consultancy advice in connection with development and project management. Some of the projects included:

  • Refurbishment of the Castle Theatre including Changing Places and access for the disabled.
  • Troubleshooting issues with and acting as Employers Agent for the resurfacing of the swimming pool.
  • Coordination of the registration of all Councils properties with Land Registry and GIS system. 
  • Public consultation regarding Council owned sites in the Castle Ward area of Wellingborough for public open space and residential uses.
  • Grant application to East Midlands Development Agency for the remediation of Patterson Road to ready the site for redevelopment by Bovis Homes.
  • Project management of refurbishment and extension of Listed Building for leisure use.
  • Refurbishment of Enterprise Court Industrial Estate comprising 18 units.
  • Construction of Travellers Site on Finedon Industrial Estate.
  • Advice in respect of disposal of various land holdings to Affordable Housing providers.
  • Coordination of the remediation of travellers site in preparation for land disposal.
